Perfect World and and Unknown Worlds Entertainment have secured Co-Sponsorship of Ümloud!, San Fransisco’s largest gameing charity event for Child’s Play. The event will be held at the DNA Lounge on December 6th. Thanks to the support of the Bay Area’s own Unknown and Perfect World Entertainment, each attendee’s contribution will go directly towards hosipotols all over the United States as a part of Child’s Play.
Perfect World’s General Manager, Andrew Brown said, “We are thrilled to share the stage with Unknown Worlds at this year’s Ümloud! The gaming community has proven time and time again that it is both passionate and generous – and so we are proud to support Child’s Play in its efforts to improve the quality of life for a younger generation of gamers.”
The event features over 30 faux rock bands rocking out live on stage, while playing Rock Band 3. It is in its fourth consectuve year.
Child’s Play is a charity run by the Penny Arcade boys, Jerry Holkins (Tycho Brahe) and Mike Krahulik (Gabrial), and “…seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals all around the world through the kindness and generosity of the video game industry and the power of play.”
