That’s right, the Wargacki is back for another edition of WTF Wednesday.  If you haven’t checked out my review for Aliens: Colonial Marines, please do.  The game was a mess but if nothing else there was plenty of fodder my my humble little weekly feature.

The part of the A:CM I’m going to highlight this week comes a bit less than halfway through the campaign as Corporal Winter is captured by some Xenomorph drones and is dragged into the Alien hive.  After  Winter frees himself from whatever alien gunk  was used to imprison him, Winter has to crawl through the sewers of LV-426 to escape.

Yup… the supposed “Badass” Colonial Marine is forced to take a page out of Newt’s playbook and tiptoe through the Alien lair where he meets… exploding Aliens.

Let that sink on for a second…

Exploding Aliens…

Wrapped your head around that yet?  No?  Let me toss another curveball in there for you.  These exploding Aliens are attracted to sound and walk around like drunk T-Rex’s.  And what is the ultimate undoing of these T-Rex Aliens?  Turning on the air conditioner…
