It’s the day after Christmas and with gamers everywhere waking up from their requisite holiday food comas, Santa Claus’ job is done for the year…..or is it?
Let’s imagine for a minute that Santa’s helpers took the time to indulge in one of those old, awful holiday fruit cakes and was infected by a brain eating fungus that turned them into vicious, flesh hungry zombies. Too much of a fantasy for you? Then let your Xbox take the place of your imagination as you fire up The Xmas Chainsaw Massacre on Xbox Live Indie Games.
This twin stick shooter (not really, your primary weapon is an extremely short range chainsaw) put players in control of Santa as they fight to quell the deadly infection spreading through the North Pole. For 80 Microsoft Points there is a bit of fun to be had if gamers can overlook the limited weapon selection and punishing difficulty. So while most gamers might be spending the day after Christmas playing AAA titles like Far Cry 3 or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, those who would prefer to prolong the holiday season with a healthy helping of blood and gore need look no further than The Xmas Chainsaw Massacre.
