WWE ’13 is taking it old school with their Attitude Era matches and it looks like the trend will go even deeper as THQ has announced that the I Quit match & King Of The Ring match types will be added to the game.
During the Attitude Era, the King Of The Ring Pay-Per-View was a staple for the WWE for years. The one on one wrestling tournament proved who was the best of the best with bragging rights for that year; yielding championship title matches usually in most cases.
The I Quit match was generally a submission match only the embarrasment factor was a little higher as WWE Superstars would have to verbally speak into the microphone that they quit, ending the match immediately.
With D-Generation X also promised in WWE ’13 there is no doubt that this game will feel like the WWE of old. WWE ’13 is set for release on October 30th.
