I can’t recall the last time any video game had its cover introduced in front of a live show with fireworks, music, and while insulting a guy in crutches. Only in the WWE would something like this happen. But thanks to thank John “Funkman” Laurinaitis, not only did he show us what may be the alternate cover of WWE 13 with the “People Power Edition” (not existent by the way) but he also gave us a release date to go along with the cover reveal which has been confirmed for October 30th, 2012.
In the middle of his promo however, Funkman was interrupted and we were finally introduced to the real cover of WWE 13 with the help of the actual cover boy himself, CM Punk. The man who is considered the “Best In The World” said it perfectly during the promo as he called THQ smart for “putting an actual wrestler on the cover of a wrestling game”.
So as of now, what you see is the official cover of WWE 13 and if you notice carefully; there is a small box with the “WWE Attitude” logo. What does this mean? We’ll find out soon enough as more details become available.
