2K Games’ newest hit game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown has been a massive success thus far, earning high ratings from numerous sites worldwide. With its strategy tendencies and a challenging campaign, many fans have come to know and love the series since its release.
After the success of the game, 2K has announced that two new content packs will be available for the game, one of which was part of the pre-order bonus for the title. The “Elite Soldier Pack”, which available through pre-order and launch purchases, will include a classic X-COM soldier in the barracks, with the iconic blonde, flattop hairstyle in a fully modern form. The pack will also include complete color customization and aesthetic choices for armor, with the Hyperion and Reaper armor kits.
The main addition to the game will be the “Slingshot Content Pack”, which will have new linked Council missions and will include a Triad operative and will feature battle in the skies of China.
The “Slingshot Content Pack” will be available soon, with an announcement coming shortly, and the “Elite Solider Pack” is available now for the purchase price of $4.99 for Playstation Network/PC, and for 400 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360.
