Who remembers the .hack video game series? Essentially, you played a kid who intern was playing a mmorpg video game. I’ve been in love with that concept ever since.
Atum pretty much takes the same route. In it, you play as a person in a room playing a PC game. You have to use objects in the room around you to solve the in-game puzzles. I was curious about how this plays out, but I have to say, it’s well executed.
Atum was developed by a group of students that would meet one day a week at the Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. You can play for free over at the game’s website.
