AquaPazza has debuted in Japan, and it’s somewhat strange. It’s strange because the fighters all hail from different anime. OK, that’s not a problem. There’s lots of action-oriented anime out there, so a dream matchup is a no-brainer! The weirdness comes in what “fighters” are included in this cross universe fight.

These characters from titles like Tears to Tiara, To Heart and To Heart 2, Utawarerumono and a manga called Kizuato. Support characters also join the fight, and they come from the aforementioned anime, and also White Album, Comic Party, and the visual novel Routes.

I am not really familiar with any of these titles, save for the first few minutes of Utawarerumono but I know that more than half of them are not about fighting. At least in the Shounen Jump crossover game, most of the characters were actual fighters you might’ve wanted to see go at it.

This is not to say that the game looks bad. AquaPazza: Aquaplus Dream Match looks like a solid fighter with crazy moves. You can learn more about the game and its characters on theAquaPazza official site (Japanese) Aquapazza is coming to the PS3.
