The second annual Boston Festival of Indie Games or BFIG –if you are familiar has– been in full swing today with a turnout that could not be ignored. Many more indie games made their way to the venue but the one that broke out from the pack was from new independent game studio, Spearhead Games.
This co-op puzzle game follows the lives of four lab rats that through some extreme testing, have developed super abilities. Each of the playable rats displays a unique ability whether that allows them to push an object away, swap places with an object and themselves, attract objects to them and develop a block is solely up to you, the player. These four rodents have the same objective: to break out of the confines of captivity and be free.
Tiny Brains will beat you over the head with the concept of working together. It is the foundation, setting, and ecosystem of the game. There is no getting around it – not that you would want to. It is where all the fun is. Don’t worry about not having friends who can park on your couch. Tiny Brains will have online co-op playability. The hop in hop out system will make it extremely easy for players to get their fix of fun while challenging its’ players to collaborate for success.
This game is so smart that it will literally conform its’ difficulty based on the number of actual players currently playing. So playing this game solo will leave the player having to put up with irritating AI that will make the task painfully unenjoyable.
Spearhead Games’ Tiny Brains is busting out with all the brain power needed to take over the world and them some. Get ready to grab your three closest friends for this epic co op adventure! Breaking free on November 15th as a launch title for the upcoming PS4.
November 15th, 2014 is the time.
PS3 and PS4 and Steam are the places.
