Double Dragon was one of my favorite games on the original NES. In my mind, it’s the granddaddy of co-op videogames. Mark your calendars for April 5 for the remake, Double Dragon 2: Wander of the Dragons coming to Xbox Live Arcade with a $15 price (1200 MSP)
The original story is unchanged and the game still has the ’80′s style, but the visuals have been upgraded and so has the combat. DD2 has a new combo system along with a new special move called the “diving knee kick”. There’s a new stage and a new enemy to take on as well.
Grab a friend for some two-player co-op or bring in more for a four-player versus mode as Billy, Jimmy, Marian, or one of the enemies. There’s a survival mode that throws you up against endless waves of enemies for bragging rights on lasting the longest.
