E3 2012 | ‘Zombi U’ Shows Us That Wii is not Playing Nice
Posted on June 7, 2012 AT 08:34am
Throughout its lifetime, The Nintendo Wii has had a few titles that aren’t meant for the whole family. No More Heroes and Madworld come to mind. Zombi U is a zombie apocalypse story that heavily involves the Wii U controller’s capabilities.
It’s a great example of what the Wii U has to offer. It reminds me of the Nintendo DS transformed into a home console. It is quite strange that you would take your eyes off the screen to focus on the WII U controller, especially since death in Zomvbi U comes much easier in this game than any other zombie title.
Zombi U works in so many ways. It might be attractive enough to curious gamers who would like to give Nintendo a shot. With a better performing console making its bow, the Wii U can attract developers to work on more mature titles.
