Developer Cyberconnect2 has been working on anime properties for a while. No doubt you might have heard of Naruto, the action/adventure about a young boy living in a ninja society.
Cyberconnect2 most recently released an original game, Asura’s Wrath, about a god who has been betrayed. It’s no wonder, then that the people who brought you such a crazy, stunning, anime-inspired action game would then take the helm of a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure began (and continues) as a manga series. Eventually it was adapted into anime movies, and there were also two video game adaptations. Only one of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure games actually made it to the US.
Now a new game is coming out, and the story spans all of the arcs of the generations-spanning history of the JoJo family. It will be coming to the Playstattion 3 exclusively, with hopes that it is released outside of Japan.
