Arguably one of the best features of Nintendo’s latest home console is their forum-like communities in the Miiverse. The only problem thus far, is that it has been chained to the console, only allowing you to look and post from the system itself. Nintendo has remedied this today by releasing the beta version of a web-based access point for their social service.
Easily accessible from either a computer or a smartphone, this opens up the Miiverse so it can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Being able to access any of the communities and see what all my Wii U-owning friends have been up to even further solidifies Miiverse as one of the most exciting features of the system. Logging in and checking out some of the amazing drawings people do is really going to get me in trouble.
Check it out in the link below and watch out for the Wii U System Update coming sometime this week. It’s going to improve load times and be followed shortly by the launch of the official Wii U Virtual Console, so keep an eye out for it soon.
