For those of you who may have been on the fence about purchasing the upcoming Persona 4 fighting game, you might want to continue reading.

The developers of Persona 4: Arena promise a story that’s not only substantial for a fighting game, but it’s so big that it stands as another complete story for the Persona 4 RPG!

Wait, that’s not all! If you’ve been keeping abreast of the Persona 4: Arena details, some characters from Persona 3 are in the cast, too. So not only is the Persona 4 story progressing, but at least 3 characters from Persona 3 will show you what they’ve been up to as well.

Check out the latest trailer, which fleshes out some plot points a little more. It’s in Japanese, but the visuals explain things fairly well.

Persona 4: Arena is debuting in Japan on the 26th of this month, and August 7th in America on PS3 and Xbox 360.
