Maybe you were sucked into the world of a much higher profile game this May, but I made sure to buy a copy of Starhawk, the PlayStation exclusive action strategy game.

I don’t blame anyone for wanting to buy the game series you know and love, rather than a spiritual successor to a game you probably didn’t play; but I believe it’s as good a time as ever to remind people how good Starhawk is.

It’s a great game- I’d dare to say as close as you can get to a parfect mixture of strategy and action. Since it is on PSN, it’s way more affordable than the retail price. The digital version for the complete game is $39.99. If you want to buy the multiplayer only, it’s $19.99. In addition, if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber, the multiplayer is FREE. There’s not a lot that would make me subscribe to Playstation Plus, but this is one of those games that are worth it.
