The Three Amigos
Criterion have announced that the DVD and Blu-ray of “Three Outlaw Samurai” will be out on February 7, 2012.
This 1964 samurai classic was the first movie by the late Hideo Gosha, the director of such film as “Goyokin,” “Sword Of The Beast,” and “Hitokiri.”
The movie has been giving Criterion’s usual digital restoration, as well as a new translation for its English subtitles. Also included are the original trailer and a booklet with an essay by film critic Bilge Ebiri.
The DVD will retail for $19.95 while the Blu-ray will be $29.95.
