A+E January DVDs To Include King Arthur, Ancient Aliens, And War In 3D

A+E Home Video have announced their January 2012 releases.

The company will start the year with “Frozen World: The Story Of The Ice Age,” a two disc set that collects four History Channel specials about the chilly era in our planet’s history. This DVD will be released on January 10, 2012 with a retail price of $19.95.

Also on January 10 is “King Arthur And Medieval Britain.” Another two-disc set, this DVD has five History Channel specials that explore both the fact and fiction of the titular British monarch, and will also retail for $19.95.

Then, two weeks later, A+E will release “Ancient Aliens: Season Three,” a four-disc set that has all sixteen episodes from the History Channel series about aliens who may have vacationed on Earth back in the days of the cavemen and ancient Egypt. This DVD will retail for $29.95.

Lastly, January 24 also sees the release of “WWII In 3D.” This Blu-ray collection, which will retail for $29.95, presents images and footage from World War II that was actually shot in 3D, including Allied recon photos and a movie shot by the Nazis in 1943. It will also retail for $29.95.
