Cartoon Network’s DC Nation Begins March 3

Posted on February 10, 2012 AT 06:03pm

We Are A Part Of The DC Nation

Cartoon Network, Warner Brothers Animation, and DC Entertainment (a.k.a DC Comic) have announced that DC Nation — an hour-long block of shows and shorts based on the iconic DC characters — will kick off March 3 at 10AM (ET/PT).

Initially, the block will include “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” (which has nothing to do with the horrible “Green Lantern” movie, thankfully) and “Young Justice,” as well as a number of random shorts, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and other fun stuff.

Those aforementioned shorts, by the way, will not only feature the usual suspects and such cult favorites as Doom Patrol, but will also draw from such animation talents as Aardman Studios (“Wallace And Gromit”) and Lauren Faust (character designer, “Powerpuff Girls”).
