C?Mon Up To The Rising

Warner Home Video have announced that The Dark Knight Rises will be released on DVD, in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, and a limited edition version of the DVD/BD combo on December 4.

While the DVD will include a featurette called ?The Journey Of Bruce Wayne? and a digital copy, the DVD/BD combos will add an hour-long documentary on the Batmobiles, a multi-part making-of documentary called ?Ending The Night,? the original trailers, and art galleries. As for the limited edition, it will come in a special Bat Cowl package.

Along with Rises, all three of Nolan?s Bruce Wayne movies will be released together as The Dark Knight Trilogy, which includes all the relevant extras as well as an exclusive book about the series.

As if that wasn?t enough, Warners will also release The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector?s Edition next year, though they didn?t say what that would be.

In addition, the film will also be available through such digital sources as iTunes, Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, Amazon, Vudu, CinemaNow, and your cable or satellite providers.

The DVD will retail for $28.98, the DVD/BD combo will be $35.99 for the regular edition and $39.99 for the limited edition, while The Dark Knight Trilogy will be $38.99 for the DVD and $52.99 for the Blu-ray.
