Something Fishy This Way Comes

Walt Disney Pictures and Home Video have announced that a new 3D version of “Finding Nemo” will hit theaters on September 14, with the Blu-ray edition to follow on December 4.

The film will be available in both as a five-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, which will have both the original 2D and the new 3D versions of the film, as well as a 3D-free three-disc DVD/Blu-ray combo pack. Both mark the first time this movie is available on Blu-ray.

The announcement didn’t reveal what other extras would be included in either collection, though given Pixar’s track record, it’s safe to assume all of the discs will be packed with fun stuff.

The five-disc version will retail for $49.99 while the three-disc edition will be $39.99.
