Ménage A Movie

Warner Home Video have announced that a series of three movie Blu-ray collections will be released on November 13.

More importantly, most of these groupings actually make sense.

For example, one collection includes Oceans 11, Oceans 12, and Oceans 13, while others present the three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, the three Austin Powers films, three of Bruce Willis’ lesser works (16 Blocks, Last Boy Scout, Last Man Standing), and the three Stanley Kubrick movies that would best work together in a movie marathon: 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, and The Shining.

But perhaps the most interesting is the pairing of the original Superman with the Richard Donner version of Superman II and the unofficial sequel to those films, Superman Returns.

As for ones that make less sense, American History X and A History of Violence are paired with True Romance; House Of Wax, is joined by Return To House On Haunted Hill, and Ghost Ship, while The Wedding Singer, Going The Distance, and Music And Lyrics are also teamed up.

Regardless of whether they work or not, all of these triple plays will retail for $24.98 each.
