How to Install a Bottom Trim in a Xbox 360 Controller

Have you ever wanted to change out the bottom piece next to your mic port ?  Did you even  know you could change that piece ?

That my friends is why we are here to help.  First off the piece by the mic is called the Bottom Trim or Mic Plate.   Its a easy process to do in which you can add some flare to your controller.  I will list below the tools needed to complete this process.  Please let us know if you have any questions about the process at all.

Tools and Material Required:

1.  T8 Torx Security Screwdriver

2.  Bottom Trim / Mic Plate for Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

3.  Your hands.

* Only 7 T8 screws need to be removed to open the Xbox 360 Controller.

* When removing your Xbox 360 Controller circuit board you will need to be gentle and set it down in a secure location.

Simply follow the instructions in the video below and you can change out your Bottom Trim in your Xbox 360 Controller.

Like many of you .. We love our gaming !! So we took it to the next level. We figured if Hot Rod guys dress up there rides, Computer nuts beef up there rigs . Why the heck cant we do the same thing to what we enjoy.
We had spent years with little choice stuck with the same plain jane stuff the manufacturers offered us out of the box. So we took the steps of bringing Mods to all with Custom Controller and Custom Case Mods. Just to give them that personalized expierience that is not offered right out of the box. Now we have the largest selection of Modding products in the industry.
