How to Install a Bottom Trim in a Xbox 360 Controller
Have you ever wanted to change out the bottom piece next to your mic port ? Did you even know you could change that piece ?
That my friends is why we are here to help. First off the piece by the mic is called the Bottom Trim or Mic Plate. Its a easy process to do in which you can add some flare to your controller. I will list below the tools needed to complete this process. Please let us know if you have any questions about the process at all.
Tools and Material Required:
1. T8 Torx Security Screwdriver http://www.modjunkiez.com/T8-Torx-for-Xbox-360-Controller_p_285.html
2. Bottom Trim / Mic Plate for Xbox 360 Wireless Controller http://www.modjunkiez.com/Bottom-Trims_c_43.html
3. Your hands.
* Only 7 T8 screws need to be removed to open the Xbox 360 Controller.
* When removing your Xbox 360 Controller circuit board you will need to be gentle and set it down in a secure location.
Simply follow the instructions in the video below and you can change out your Bottom Trim in your Xbox 360 Controller.
