February 26th of next year marks the release of the English-language version of the next chapter of Atlus’ dungeon-crawling epic, Etrian Odyssey IV.

If you’re a fan of old-school first-person dungeon explorations, then I’m just going to assume you’re already long familiar with the Etrian Odyssey series. The game became a break-out hit for fans of the genre on the DS, and Etrian Odyssey IV now promises to update the series with all new visuals crafted for this first 3DS iteration.

Myself, I’ll kind of miss the more “classic” graphics that the DS trilogy sported—then again, given that I’m only a few hours into Etrian Odyssey II, and EOIII sits un-opened on my shelf, who am I to even begin to comment on such things?
