It’s not quite time for Halloween yet, but EA is announcing a new expansion for The Sims 3 anyway. Dubbed the “Supernatural” Expansion, this update for the popular PC game drops this September and will give players a variety of new creatures to mess around with.
“Supernatural” (which clocks in as expansion #7), is themed on the rise of the full moon, taking place in the new “Midnight Falls” town. There, you can use the Create A Sim feature to make werewolves, fairies, and improved vampires with new abilities like delayed aging effects.
Magic is also being introduced into the expansion, and the overall look is very Harry Potter-like. Considering that EA has had a long partnership with Warner Bros. in developing and producing several Harry Potter games throughout the years, the similarity just might be intentional.
If you pre-order now on Origin, EA will throw some limited edition Plants vs. Zombies content your way in the form of stuff for your Sims house and some costume items. Get a feel for what it all looks like in the trailer below:
