EA and the National Hockey League are once again turning to fans to help decide which athlete will grace the cover of NHL 14.

The first preliminary round of voting starts today. Sixty players comprise the full list, and between today and Sunday, April 28, fans can vote teammate versus teammate to narrow the list down to one representative from each team (with two wild card selections) until only 32 remain.

On Monday, April 29, the second preliminary round will pare down those 32 players to the top 16 candidates. From there, voting will be a weekly round-by-round single elimination until the brackets dwindle down to the finalists (with the winner earning that coveted cover space). Said winner will be revealed during this year’s Stanley Cup Finals.

Last year’s cover vote landed Philadelphia Flyer Claude Giroux on the cover of NHL 13.

Hop over to NHL’s Cover Vote page to determine which player will represent their team, and possibly go on to the finals (or win!).
