God of War

THE BUZZ: Amazon France has taken it upon itself to out the heavily rumored God of War IV into existence. A preorder page went up with no details on price or release date, but the Playstation 3 was specified as the platform of choice. This follows South African retailer BT Games, who also listed God of War IV along with a February 2013 release date. These listings, along with other rumors that God of War is coming back with some form of multiplayer, and God of War IV is quickly becoming the industry’s work kept secret.

EGM’s TAKE: We leap at the chance to step into the very angry shoes of Kratos so we’re hoping Sony makes things official and gives us some details soon. We wonder where the series can actually go from here, and cringe at the thought of Kratos running around, cracking skulls with a spunky sidekick, but the franchise has never let us down before so we aren’t too worried about Kratos and friends.
