Lots of upcoming video games will be display at the PAX Prime 2012 event in Seattle, Washington this week, so you’ll probably need a short list of what the developers are bringing down. Microsoft and Square Enix have their showcases set.
Major Nelson notes that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 booth will be displaying the following titles:
- Halo 4
- Forza Horizon
- Gears of War: Judgment
- Fable: The Journey
- Resident Evil 6
- Tomb Raider
- FIFA Soccer 13
With the exception of Gears of War, each Xbox 360 game in PAX Prime Booth #412 will be part of a hands-on demo. Just make sure to line up early, because you could be spending some time waiting for a controller.
Square Enix has a much shorter list for Booth #3625 (technically, Tomb Raider‘s doing double duty with Microsoft), but that’s just fine, since their list of playable games isn’t nearly as attractive:
- Hitman: Absolution
- Tomb Raider
- Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Celebration
PAX Prime attendees will be finding out more about the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Seattle ACT Theater, with a special event that will be hosted around the same time as the “Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation” in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Everyone at both events can play various Final Fantasy titles, as well as enter contents for free posters, swag, and in some cases, one of those rare Final Fantasy XIII-2-themed PlayStation 3s or Xbox 360s.
