Developer Red Thread Games has released a 30-minute gameplay video for Dreamfall Chapters, complete with commentary by Dreamfall creator Ragnar Tornquist.

Dreamfall Chapters is currently in pre-alpha following a successful Kickstarter campaign last year in which the developer raised $1,538,425. The game is set to officially release this November for PC, Mac, and Linux. Of course with this being alpha footage, the animation leaves a lot to be desired, but the environments and voice work seems to be in good shape.

The video also offers an early look at some of the game’s puzzles, one of which involves putting a pillow on the end of a broom and hanging it out of a window to catch some arrows from the archers below, and then using one of them to pick a lock.
