Battlefield 3

During EA’s Summer Showcase event yesterday the publisher showed off a small snippet of gameplay from Battlefield 3‘s new game mode Tank Superiority, which will be included in the game’s next expansion Armored Kill.

The game’s lead designer spoke a little about past and future DLC for the game before moving on to demonstrate a new map being added in Armored Kill known as Armored Shield, and the game’s new mode Tank Superiority. This new mode pits two teams of tanks against one another with the aim being to control the flag in the center of the map.

Armored Kill will be out in September, and you can check out the new game mode below at the 2:00 mark.
