Amnesia developer Frictional Games has released a debut gameplay trailer for its next title Soma.

Soma tasks players with escaping a science facility and focuses on exploitative horror, while leaving the player completely defenseless. “The radio has gone silent on PATHOS-2. As isolation bears down on the staff of the remote research facility, strange things are happening,” the developer writes on the game’s official website.

“Machines are taking on human traits and alien constructions have started to interfere with routine. The world around them is turning into a nightmare.

“The only way out is to do something unimaginable.”

Soma is expected to release in 2015 for PC and PlayStation 4. You can check out the trailer below.
