The release of Three Fields Entertainment’s Dangerous Golf has been pushed back by one month, creative director Alex Ward has confirmed.

The game was originally given a May release date, but Ward confirmed to VideoGamer on Twitter that it will now release in June.

In Dangerous Golf players aren?t aiming for holes in one and birdies, instead, the goal is to combine trick shots and ricochets to cause as much damage as possible.

?It?s as serious a golf game as Burnout was a serious simulation to driving games,? the developer explained in January. ?We wanted to mix the attitude of Burnout with the destruction of Black whilst setting the golf ball on fire ? a nod to NBA Jam. This type of gameplay is part of our DNA, and something we think our fans will truly enjoy.?

Dangerous Golf is in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
