Disney has released their earnings from last quarter, and Disney Infinity sales are down. Disney attributes the loss to “decreased unit sales and lower average net effective pricing.”
There aren’t any unit sales numbers available, but overall revenue fell from $264 million to $208 million, with operating incoming down an additional $29 million compared to last year.
Of course, with Disney being the media giant that it is (all its other divisions, including Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, Studio Entertainment, and Consumer Products, had positive year-to-year growth), it isn’t going to run out of money any time soon.
Disney Interactive’s mobile game Tsum Tsum is still going strong, and Disney Infinity 3.0 launches at the end of this month for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, and mobile devices.
