An enhanced version of Larian Studios PC role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the developer has announced.

The Enhanced Edition features a new controller-friendly user interface, split-screen local co-op, hours of new quests, new locations, new characters, improved visuals, fully voiced dialogue, and a rewritten story with a brand new ending.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is a completely separate game: not an update to Divinity: Original Sin,” the developer explains. “Both games will remain available on PC and Mac, and it is important to note that they are totally different entities, so if you’ve already bought Original Sin you’ll see separate listings for Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in your Steam Library. This means that saved games can’t be transferred from Divinity: Original Sin to the Enhanced Edition.

As an added bonus, players who supported the developer by buying Divinity: Original Sin will be given the Enhanced Edition for free.

“This is a reflection of our immense gratitude to all of you. We deeply appreciate your support, and the feedback we received from you helped us create and polish this game into something that we’re extremely proud of,” the developer added.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Mac, and Linux, but is currently without a release date.
