Sony Online Entertainment has released a new trailer for EverQuest Next Landmark that showcases another area of the game, the desert.

Landmark is a creation tool for EverQuest Next, which allows players to collect materials and then build items and structures. Upon entering the game world players will be able to “claim” a piece of land that will be theirs to do with as they wish. From what I’ve head from people inside the alpha, the desert isn’t the best place to claim a piece of land due to a lack of nearby resources and interesting scenery.

The alpha for EverQuest Next Landmark started on January 31 for players who purchased a Founders Pack.
