After Bethesda finally confirmed one of the industry’s worst-kept secrets with the reveal of Fallout 4 on Wednesday, you’d expect that players would be plenty pumped for the latest entry in the post-apocalyptic RPG franchise.
As it turns out, they’re pretty excited about Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, too.
As GameSpot reports, Fallout 3, originally released in 2008, rose more than 1,000% in sales on Amazon after the announcement, while 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas increased by more than 400%. It looks like sales have leveled off since then, as neither game currently ranks in the top 20 on Amazon’s Movers & Shakers chart. Still, it’s clear that official word of Fallout 4 has players excited to revisit the older games in anticipation of the series’ trip to post-apocalyptic Boston on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
If you’ve been in your own Brendan Fraser–style bunker the past few days and somehow missed the Fallout 4 announcement trailer, here it is—a three-minute peek at one of the most anticipated games to come along in some time.
