The 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is coming to Windows PC through Steam next month, Square Enix announced.
The wholly unnecessary sequel, set 17 years after the events of Final Fantasy IV, first graced Japanese mobile phones in 2008 and 2009 before finding its way over to PSP and North America in 2011. The 3D remake launched on iOS and Android devices in November 23.
The Steam version is currently available for pre-purchase at a 10 percent discount, knocking its normally $15.99 price tag (too high) down a whopping $1.60 to $14.39 (still too high). Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will launch on Steam May 12.
