Halo 4 lead designer Scott Warner has departed 343 Industries and joined EA’s Visceral Games, Warner himself announced on Twitter this morning.

Warner joined 343i in 2009. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Mercenaries developer Pandemic Studios.

According to Warner, he’s serving as a “design director” for Visceral Games, working on the studio’s yet-announced next project (perhaps their Star Wars game?). The next Dead Space is also a possibility. Dead Space 3 underperformed, but not enough for EA to nix the franchise altogether.
