In what, to me, seems like cause for concern, but what Capcom calls “business reasons,” Lost Planet 3 has been delayed again.

Originally slated for an “early 2013” release, Capcom announced an initial June 26 delay last month. Now, the company has confirmed that the title has been delayed a second time to August 27 in North America, August 30 in Europe.

Lost Planet 3 is being developed in collaboration between California-based developer Spark Unlimited—developers of Call of Duty: Finest Hour for Xbox, PS2, and GameCube—and Capcom (specifically, the involvement of series creator Kenji Oguru).

Lost Planet 3 will be released for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 probably definitely August 27.

Maybe.
