You should probably avoid this spoiler-filled Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor launch trailer if you’re at all certain you’re going to play the game, which releases today on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC (Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will hit in November).

If you’re still on the fence, however?but, given the excellent reception Monolith Productions’ open-world action-adventure has received so far, including our own review, why would you be??there’s just about every possible element in there to convince you.

We’re talking an elite Ranger of Gondor, a special cameo from a certain Lord of the Rings star, the Dark Lord Sauron looking as intimidating as a suit of armor can possibly be, plenty of men in cloaks?and Uruks. Hordes and hordes of Uruks. And this doesn’t even touch on the game’s stellar Nemesis system, which is the real draw that’ll keep everyone playing this surprise contender for game of the year.
