Today, Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions unveiled the details of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor‘s season pass, which will add even more missions and challenges for Tolkien fans when the game launches September 30th.

Along with special skins and runes, the season pass includes two new story missions. Lords of the Hunt will let players “hunt the wild beasts of Mordor,” while the Bright Lord will allow players to take on the role of Celebrimbor, the greatest Elven smith of the Second Age–and an important personage in Shadow of Mordor‘s narrative. Players who purchase the season pass will also be granted early access to the Trial of War series, which will offer special “challenge modes” and leaderboards based around confrontations with Sauron’s legions.

Finally, the season pass will also offer the “Guardians of the Flaming Eye” Orc Warband missions, where players can obtain the Rising Flame rune as a reward for battling Sauron’s “elite defenders” at the Black Gate.
