Moon Studios has announced a March 11th release date on Xbox One and PC for Ori and the Blind Forest, their upcoming 2D platformer they say is inspired by the likes of Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Those two Nintendo classics may be heady company, but Moon Studios is comprised of developers from around the world who’ve worked at high-profile companies, including Blizzard, and those of us at EGM who’ve gotten a chance to play the game at preview events have come away impressed. Below, you can check out a new gameplay video Moon Studios released today and get a sense of what exploring Ori‘s intriguing, ethereal world is all about.

An Xbox 360 version of the game is also in the works, though that’s still only confirmed for a release later this year.
