An open beta for the PC version of Robot Entertainment’s Orcs Must Die Unchained is scheduled to begin later this month, the developer has announced.

To prepare for the test, which begins on March 29th, the game’s servers will be taken offline for an entire week.

Unchained sees two teams of five facing off against each other. The goal is to destroy the enemy?s crystal using minions, while defending your own. All of the series? traps are available to players and there?s also the option of directly engaging the enemy team in combat.

Earlier this month, the developer released patch 2.8 for the game, which added a new ?Shark Island? battleground, daily rewards, and adjusted the gold cost of items.

Orcs Must Die Unchained is also in development for PlayStation 4.
