Microsoft and Moon Studios have announced the release date of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition.

The Definitive Edition of the game will feature an expanded theater mode, which adds early concept material from the game, trailers, and “some other really cool content.”

There’s also “a sizeable new playable area” called Black Root Burrows. “There is a great story sequence throughout Black Root Burrows where you’re discovering the past of Naru, the mother character,” executive producer Mark Coates said. “You discover her roots, where she came from, and you learn a bit more about her as a character and why maybe she is compelled to do some of the things that she does later on in the game. It’s all interwoven with the already-existing story.”

While adventuring in Black Root Burrows players will unlock a new dash ability that grants a quick burst of speed with a tap of RB. This new move can be upgraded to allow it to damage and be performed in midair. Another new ability is Light Burst, which is described as being “more or less like a grenade.”

Finally, the Definitive Edition will introduce an “easy” mode.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition launches March 11th for Xbox One and PC.
