Call of Duty

Last week the Internet went crazy over alleged comments made by Captain Price voice actor Billy Murray claiming that Modern Warfare 4 was in development. Infinity Ward has since shot down these rumors and now Murray has decided to clear up the confusion.

A writer from ThisisXbox.com stated that Murray said during a conversation on a plane, “Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4, I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games…”

Murray has now taken to Twitter to clarify his comments, “Told the guy I was doing a special new Modern Warfare for China, not MW4.″

“The guy I spoke to on the plane was very nice and I’m really pleased he loves the game but the facts have got a bit confused somewhere,” he added. So it appears that Murray is actually working on Call of Duty Online and not Modern Warfare 4. However while Infinity Ward was quick to deny talking with any voice actors about the game, it didn’t flat out deny its existence.

Do you think Modern Warfare 4 will be the next Call of Duty? Let us know in the comments below.
