Introversion has announced that Prison Architect will finally be leaving Steam Early Access next month.

The game will leave Early Access and launch on October 6th with “a wealth of new content,” including “brand new features and game modes,” according to the developer. This new content will be unveiled at EGX this weekend in Birmingham, England.

“In addition to the comprehensive developer session, Introversion will also be bringing the full Prison Architect experience to EGX with their very own prison,” the developer added. “Complete with cell, shower, canteen and an electric chair -visitors are urged to be on their best behavior, or a passing visit could quickly turn into a lengthy sentence…”

For those who can’t make it to EGX, the event will also be livestreamed.
