Quantum Break

Dominic Monaghan is playing with time as Dr. William Joyce in the latest Quantum Break live-action trailer.

In the video, staged as a type of found footage, Joyce rambles with excitement that he finally built a time machine and that it’s ready for a human testing. It’s 1999 and the grainy magnetic tape of VHS is represented in all its retro glory.

No new gameplay footage here, however, just Remedy’s tradition of supplementing their games with live-action footage ahead of launch, much like they did with 2010’s Alan Wake. Then again, since Quantum Break features TV-style episodes between the playable sections, this time it’s a bit more in line with the final experience.

Quantum Break arrives on April 5th, 2016 on Xbox One and PC.
