A new piece of concept art posted to the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter teases the new setting the next campaign will take place.

A week ago, developed Harebrained Schemes announced they’d be returning to Kickstarter in January for something Shadowrun related. And while they still haven’t offered up any details surrounding the nature of the new crowdfunding run, the concept art strongly suggests that it’s to secure financing for another Shadowrun Returns campaign in the same vein as Dragonfall. Said new campaign, it seems, will be taking players to a city in one of the Far East nations. Presumably Hong Kong, since that was among the locations fans expressed interest in when polled back in 2012.

Shadowrun’s second campaign, Dragonfall, got the standalone release treatment in the form of a Director’s Cut edition earlier this year, in September, available across Windows, OS X, iOS, Android, and Linux.
