Disney Infinity

Looks like one of Disney’s biggest bads, Sleeping Beauty’s Malificent, is coming to Disney Infinity, according to a teaser image posted to the game’s official Twitter account.

The image (seen above, and in full below), shows the unmistakable silhouette of the Mistres of All Evil. The tweet was accompanied by text that reads: “Something wicked is coming to Disney Infinity…”

Malificent’s incorporation is no doubt meant to coincide with the release of Angelina Jolie’s upcoming film Malificent, which hits theaters May 30, or at least surf the film’s wake—the top right corner of the image is marked 2.0 Edition, but the update—which also brings with it Marvel super heroes content, including the Avengers roster and worlds inspired by their comic book adventures—isn’t scheduled to launch before this fall.

Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition—or Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, if you like—was formally unveiled on April 30. The second version of Disney’s Skylanders-style enterprise will launch on Windows PC, PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and iOS later this year.
