Star Wars Battlefront

EA has confirmed that no invite will be required to access the Star Wars: Battlefront beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

“Now that we have officially announced the beta, most of you are just itching to know how you can get in. Well, we’re excited to say that the beta is open to everyone,” community manager Mathew Everett wrote. “Get ready for the beta release date and also make sure your system is ready to download the beta the moment it goes live. Keep your eyes peeled for myself and many other developers during the live beta as we have some cool stuff planned.”

The beta will include the 40-person Walker Assault mode on Hoth and the newly revealed Drop Zone mode on Sullust, as well as a chance to try out one of the game’s Survival Missions set on Tatooine in either online or local split-screen co-op.

The Star Wars: Battlefront beta begins this October.
